Dr. William Levine, Ph.D., is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Borns Medical Robotics. He earned his doctorate in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Professor of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland. A globally recognized pioneer in control systems and robotics, Dr. Levine is an IEEE Life Fellow and recipient of the prestigious IEEE Millennium Medal. He has served as Chairman of the IEEE Control Systems Society and Chairman of the American Control Conference (ACC), contributing significantly to the advancement of modern automation and intelligent control theory.Dr. Levine’s visionary leadership bridges academia and industry, driving innovation in robotic system design, autonomous control, and AI integration for next-generation medical and industrial applications worldwide.
