German Consulate General Representatives Visited Borns Headquarters.

April 22, 2024, Mr. Aron Mir Haschemi, Consul General of the German Consulate General in Chengdu, along with Mr. Manuel Metschel, Secretary of the Economic Department of the German Embassy in China, visited the Borns headquarters. The visit focused on the advancements and applications of AI robotic technology in the medical field. Dr. Yao Li, the founder and CEO of Borns, provided an in-depth presentation on the company's development history, product pipeline, and technological innovations to Mr. Aron Mir Haschemi.

In 2022, Borns launched the project in Germany in collaboration with Aschaffenburg Hospital, the affiliated hospital of the University of Würzburg. This partnership encompasses clinical trials, research, and training with the Borns robotic surgery system, marking a significant milestone in overseas innovation following successful clinical developments in China and India.


During the visit to Borns headquarters, Mr. Aron Mir Haschemi, Consul General of Germany in Chengdu, demonstrated great interest in the project. He operated the surgery simulation training system and was notably impressed by the haptic control system and the human-robot interface, which are key components of the next-generation AI-embodied robotic system.


The delegation also engaged in discussions on the broader applications of AI robotics technology, exploring ways to further strengthen cooperation with Germany. This collaboration aims to promote scientific research, engineering innovation, and education in the field of AI robotics.
