Borns Medical is recruiting for a Hardware Engineer, Applications within our Hardware organization.
As a hardware engineer, you will join the medical robot hardware system development team, dedicated to the development of hardware facilities and driver software for embedded hardware systems. These hardware systems enable clinical doctors to safely and effectively interact with medical robots.
Core Job Responsibilities:
• Complete the selection, circuit design, analysis, and simulation of hardware chips used in motor control.
• Define architecture and propose solutions for analog and digital hardware development.
• Conduct simulations and card development within the hardware system.
• Draft specifications, plan policies, conduct technical and system proofs and engage in matrix and engineering work in collaboration with project managers and system engineers.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics, communications, computer science, or related fields, with at least 1 year of hardware development experience.
• Familiar with the key parameters of commonly used embedded hardware components and their effects in circuit applications. Able to independently select key analog and digital devices based on circuit requirements.
• Familiar with the selection of various motor drive components and circuit design.
• Familiar with the motion characteristics of brushless motors, stepper motors, and DC motors.
• Experience in interface circuit development, such as digital quantity acquisition and drive, analog quantity acquisition and drive, RS422, RS232, USB, Ethernet, CAN communication, etc.
• Proficient in at least one schematic and PCB development tool, capable of independently completing PCB layout and wiring design.
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, familiar with various hardware debugging methods, and skilled in using soldering iron for SMD component soldering.
• Possess a certain level of product reliability design, EMC design, and maintainability/repairability
