Medical Equipment Engineer

Borns Medical is recruiting for a Medical Equipment Engineer, Applications within our instrument organization. 
As a medical device engineer, you will work closely with suppliers and production departments to be responsible for the structural design of advanced medical robot surgical instrument products to ensure quality compliance, organize the production of product assembly drawings, component drawings, assembly manufacturing operation manuals and other related documents, select standard mechanical system components, and be responsible for process improvement and functional enhancement during product processing.
Core Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct structural design for advanced medical robotic products.
• Coordinate and communicate with external vendors for the outsourcing and processing of parts, ensuring quality control.
• Organize the creation of product assembly drawings, component drawings, assembly manufacturing operation manuals, and other related documents.
• Proficiently select standard components for mechanical systems.
• Take responsibility for process improvement and functional enhancement during product processing, analyze the causes of defects, and formulate corrective and preventive measures.
• Organize and write relevant technical documents.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or mechatronics, with more than 3 years of experience in mechanical structural design.
• Proficient in using software such as SolidWorks and CAD for 2D/3D design.
• Familiar with tolerance analysis, mechanical simulation, strength analysis, and vibration analysis.
• Knowledge of processing methods and techniques such as plastic and sheet metal mold development, powder metallurgy, and machining.
• Familiar with various transmission structure design and calculations.
• Candidates with experience in the development of minimally invasive surgical instruments, anastomotic devices, or robotics are preferred.
